The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts will present “Father of the Bride” for the summer production.
Auditions will be held Sunday, May 20, at 2 p.m.
This is not a musical, nor is it the 1991 movie starring Steve Martin.
Think about the 1950 American comedy film starring Spencer Tracy, about a man trying to cope with preparations for his daughter’s upcoming wedding.
If you’d like to audition, come prepared for a cold read.
There are about 20 parts, ranging from about 15 years old to adult.
The show will be directed by Haley Grassia. Show dates are August 2 through 5.
