Equipment operators with Suncoast Infrastructure refill the trench dug to work on the main sewer line that runs beneath Short Street and serves Perch, Bream and Trout streets. The Mississippi-based company is nearing completion of the three-months-plus, half-million dollar sewer rehabilitation project, all but a small portion of which is being paid for with a Community Development Block Grant.

Historic marker dedication set in Century
The Alger-Sullivan Historical Society and the Town of Century announce a dedication ceremony for the unveiling of a state historic marker recognizing the Alger-Sullivan Lumber Company Residential Historic District in old Century. Working hard for St. Jude
Students at Huxford Elementary School set a school record raising $2,130 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Marguerite Watson’s class raised the most money.
