Poarch Creek Fire Department personnel are credited with possibly saving the lives of two Florida residents who were badly injured when the car in which they were passengers went off a bridge over Interstate 65 and plunged into a deep ravine. Escambia County Middle School’s fourth-grade students were the guests of honor at a February 2 assembly during which their accomplishments in the study of mathematics were recognized and praised. Semmes man killed in Atmore crash
A Mobile County man lost his life Wednesday, January 31, when the vehicle he was driving left a roadway just outside Atmore and hit a culvert. Alabama State Troopers reported that the fatal, single-vehicle mishap occurred around noon on North 18th Avenue, just east of Atmore.
