Community Thanksgiving Service is Sunday
The Community Thanksgiving Service will be Sunday, November 19, at 6 p.m., at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Brennan Peacock, First United Methodist Church, will bring the message and there will be special music from several churches. Participating churches are Bethel United Methodist, First Baptist, First Presbyterian, First United Methodist, Greater Mt. Triumph Missionary Baptist, McRae United Methodist, Grace Fellowship, Mt. New ambulance service in town
Atmore City Council members removed during their November 13 meeting the initial barrier to allowing a new ambulance service to set up shop here and begin operations inside the city and its police jurisdiction.
