Blacksher loses heart-breaker to Chickasaw
By KATIE WIGGINS News Sports Writer The Chickasaw Chieftains made a comeback to beat the J.U. Blacksher Bulldogs 34-42 in Friday night’s game, October 13. Errors by the Bulldogs’ offense were a huge factor as to why Blacksher lost. Chickasaw had 14 penalties and Blacksher had only 4. Devils fall 45-22 to powerful Thomasville
It was the same song, just a different verse for Escambia County High’s football team last Friday (October 13). Perdido MS volleyball team is county champ
Perdido Middle School’s volleyball team, under Coach Lori Rider, finished as both regular season and tournament champions. The county tournament was held in Elberta. Members of team are Kaitlyn Stephens, Lillie Lanham, Mary Kinsley Reed, Natalee Presley, Breanna Laird, Raven Ryland, Ayden Scarborough, Mary Emma Brooks, Hannah Brooks, Raelee Young, Savannah Catrett and Aspen Gerald. Perdido MS takes first, second in cross country
The Baldwin County Cross Country finals were held on October 10, at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve. Perdido School girls were 1A Cross Country Champions for the county. Runners and their individual finishing places are as follows: Madison Presley, third place; Natalee Presley, fourth place; Josie Williams, sixth place. Madison and Natalee were selected as All County runners.
