Wrapping up Market in the Park
Jimmy Mason, at left, chats with Lisa Werkheiser, who purchased a basket of tomatoes from Mason during Saturday’s final Market in the Park. Local growers, bakers and canners offered late-summer vegetables, as well as sweet treats, plants, honey and more. The crowd was strong during the event’s earliest stages but had dwindled by mid-morning.

‘Shop for Free’ at DWC
This Saturday is a special day at Destiny Worship Center. Dr. Bernard and First Lady Felicia Bishop are giving back to the community and, at the same time, demonstrating love and care in Atmore.
