Disaster declaration sought for South Alabama counties from USDA

Working around the 4th
Monday holidays sometimes pose a problem for us, with our print deadline being on Tuesday. However, July 4th presents a real challenge. Not only will we work around our newspaper schedule, it’s also “atmore” magazine week. The folks at The Monroe Journal print our newspaper, and they’re doing it Monday so they can be off Tuesday.
