Una Helen Milstead Haddock
Mrs. Una Helen Milstead Haddock, age 78, of Oak Grove, Fla., passed away Friday March 31, 2017 at her residence. She was retired from Vanity Fair Mills as a work distributor. She was born in Pensacola, Fla. to the late Lawrence Hilton and Lillie Bell Ziglar Milstead. She was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Helton Haddock; two brothers, Lawrence Milstead, Jr. and Howard Ray Milstead; ones, Frances Hanks.

Mrs. Haddock is survived by two daughters: Gina Haddock and Linda Haddock (Larry) Johnson all of Oak Grove; two sisters: Mary Yvonne Coon of Oak Grove and JoAnn (Butch) White of Tallahassee, Fla.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Butch Brown officiating. Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family received friends Monday, April 3, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

William Eugene McKinley
Mr. William Eugene McKinley, age 42, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 in Perdido, Ala.

He was a native and life-long resident of Perdido.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Dorothy McKinley.

Mr. McKinley is survived by his step-mother, Gladys Etheridge of Perdido; one step-brother, William Etheridge of Castleberry, Ala.; four step-sisters, Jennie Etheridge of Castleberry, Marie Etheridge of Perdido, Virginia Meeks of Key West, Fla. and Elizabeth Norwood of Atmore, Ala.; one aunt, Dorothy Hubbard of Perdido and one uncle, Harvey McKinley of Perdido.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 3, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating. Burial followed at Dean Cemetery.

The family received friends Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes.

Roosevelt Lewis
Mr. Roosevelt Lewis, age 54, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in Dothan, Ala. He was born to Donald Poindexter and Carrie Lewis in Escambia County, Ala. He was educated in the Conecuh County Public School System. He served as usher, choir member, Sunday school teacher and a faithful Deacon in his church.

He was preceded in death by his other, Carrie Lewis-Henry; mother-in-law, Arthurine Price; grandparents and three brothers.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Diane Henry and daughter, Kadeja Henry; father, John L. Henry; grandmother, Mary Sigler of Mobile, Ala; three brothers, Robert (Doliska) Henry of Fayetteville, Ga., Tyrone (Brenda) Henry of Evergreen, Ala., David (Sonya) Henry of Enterprise, Ala.; three sisters, Mary Stroud of Andalusia, Ala., Althanette and Josephine Henry of Evergreen, Ala; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law; devoted friend, Lee Narvie Meeks of Evergreen; great-niece and great-nephew, Ahmorie and Q’aiden Henry; host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and other relatives

Funeral services were held Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Evergreen with Pastor Eric Johnson officiating. Interment followed at Greater Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were his nephews and friends.

Flower bearers were his nieces and cousins.

Eunice Seales Clark
Mrs. Eunice Seales Clark, age 95, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2017. She was born to William Benjamin and Laura Sena Seales in Pineville, Fla. She graduated from Ernest Ward High School. During World War II, she worked at Brookley Field in Mobile, Ala. She was an avid baker known for her yeast rolls, pound cakes and oatmeal cookies. She loved the time spent in her vegetable and rose gardens and for many years found time to volunteer as a 4-H leader working with children in Escambia County, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; a sister, Eula Seals Barlow and eleven half- brothers and sisters; Eva Seales Pean, Bertha Seales Flowers, Elma Seales Gouchooft, Stella Seales Flowers, Clara Seales Roberson, Ida Seales Smith, Walker Seales, Reese Seales, Essie Seales Bartley, Cassue Seales Chappell and Emery Seales.

Mrs. Clark is survived by five children, Barbara Rixey, Connie (Gordon) Raines, Carolyn Green, Tyrell (Rose) and Ann (John) Bingham; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronald Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Spring Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10 until service time at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Dorothy Caraway Henderson
Mrs. Dorothy Caraway Henderson, age 68, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 in Mobile, Ala. She was a native and life-long resident of the Atmore, Ala. area and was a member of Cross Point Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Maurene Caraway; her husband, Donald Jay Henderson.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by her daughter, Connie (Mitch) Harrelson of Atmore; three-brothers, Bob Caraway, Jimmy Ray (Shona) Caraway, Johnny Dale (Tracy) Caraway all of Atmore; three sisters, Rebie Lou (Calvin) Blanton of Pensacola, Fla., Earnestine Brantley, of Wedowee, Ala., Maureen Searcy of Atmore; three grandchildren, Reagan, Aiden and Rileigh Harrelson of Atmore; best friends, Mary Ridgeway and Eleanor Flowers; numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. J.T. Guyton officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Hill Cemetery.

Diana S. Wiggins
Ms. Diana S. Wiggins, age 51, of Atmore, Ala. passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Mobile Infirmary.

Thomas Northern, Jr.
Mr. Thomas Northern, Jr., native of Evergreen, Ala. and resident of Miami, Fla., passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017.
