Rotary offering two scholarships
The Atmore Rotary Club may award two scholarships up to $2,000 per scholarship to two 2017 high school graduates with a 2.5 or higher GPA who enroll as a full-time student in a college program for the 2017–2018 academic year (fall and spring semesters). The scholarships are awarded on the basis of both merit and need. Swine show and sale is Saturday
The Escambia County 4-H Swine Project Show & Sale is set for this Saturday, March 25, at Brewton Feed & Seed, Highway 31, Brewton. Show begins at 10 a.m. with the sale immediately following. Saddle up for St. Jude
The 19th Year Saddle Up Trail Ride for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2. Last year, more than $25,000 was raised. This year’s goal is $30,000.
