Atmore student makes AUM Dean’s List  
Matthew Kyle Barnett, a nursing major, earned recognition on the Dean’s List of Auburn University at Montgomery’s College of Nursing and Health Sciences for the Fall 2016 semester. To meet Auburn University’s requirements for inclusion on the dean’s list, the student must be enrolled for 12 credit hours and earn a GPA of at least 3.75 (on the 4.00 system).
Perdido E/M School reaches out to help some of their own
Students at Perdido Elementary / Middle School wanted to be involved in helping some of their own – Gulf Shores Middle and High School, after the horrific accident involving band members from both schools during the Mardi Gras holidays. Community band beginning practice
The Escambia County Community Band will begin practice in April on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. at the Flomaton High School Band room. Concerts will be in late June and early July.
