Perdido Elementary pre-k through third graders enjoyed celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday last week through involvement in a wide variety of activities. Students dressed up to represent some of their favorite books: Wacky Wednesday, (Fox in Socks) Thursday, and (Green Eggs and Ham) Friday.
On Wednesday, Dr. Seuss’s actual birthday, the students celebrated with a birthday cake.
During the week, children created all sorts of art work, graphed their favorite books, who liked green eggs and ham, and if they wore crazy socks or not. The children listened to many of Dr. Seuss’s most famous books.
