Kindergarten students in Mrs. Kambi Gohagin, Mrs. Geri Peacock and Mrs. Brooke Drinkard’s classes celebrated the first “100 Days of School,” on February 3rd. Superheroes ‘Crack the Code’
Students in Mrs. Laurie Myer and Mrs. Linda McCullough’s classes at Perdido School turned into Superheroes Thursday, February 2, in order to rescue the stuffed animal locked inside the Breakout EDU box. It was an exciting day in fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade Project Jubilee / Humanities, as students found out that robots are much more than toys or “workers” on an assembly line. Perdido students experiment with ramp designs
At Perdido Middle School, students in Ms. Nita Long’s eighth-grade science classes began an activity to teach them about distance vs. time graphs and how to use these graphs to find the average acceleration of an object. Perfect attendance at Perdido E/M School
For the second quarter, 134 students at Perdido Elementary / Middle School had perfect attendance. During a school-wide assembly, excitement built, as students, faculty and staff who had not missed a day during the second quarter anxiously awaited the drawings to see who would walk away with $50 gift certificates.
