Auditions set for Passion Play

The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts will hold auditions for a passion play, “He Was Raised,” this Saturday, Feb. 18 at 1 p.m. There are 38 speaking parts for all ages in this drama. (There will be no singing.) Show dates are April 6-9. Auditions will be held at the theater, corner of Trammell and Nashville.

GECA play coming up

The Greater Escambia Council for the Arts is presenting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs of the Black Forest this month. Sherrie Hursh and her daughter Dana Landis are directing the two casts – both are complete children’s casts, with a total of 36 kids. ages 7 to 18. One cast will perform Thursday and Saturday, the other on Friday and Sunday. In addition, they are performing 12 school shows.…

GECA tickets available

This Friday night, December 30, 7 p.m., the Greater Escambia Council for the Arts is presenting an after-Christmas concert – Wrapping Up Christmas. Tickets are $10 for non-members, $7 for members. Tickets will be available at the box office and are available now at Atmore News, 128 S. Main.
