ECMS students shine at statewide science fair
The stellar performance of Escambia County Middle School students in a statewide mathematics competition is apparently rubbing off on students who are proficient in other areas. NJHS back at ECMS – 30 students inducted into national junior honor society
Thirty Escambia County Middle School students added a new chapter to the school’s history on February 5 when they became members of the National Junior Honor Society. The induction ceremony, conducted in the school gym, marked the resumption of the school’s NJHS chapter after a year’s hiatus. ECMS participates in Toys for Tots
Escambia County Middle Peer Helpers sponsored Toys for Tots drive from November 12 to December 13. All homerooms were encouraged to participate. The homeroom with the most donations was rewarded a pizza party sponsored by Pastor Darryl North, Toys for Tots District Coordinator. Math skills add up to success for ECMS, RPES students
Students at two local schools have been — literally and figuratively — thinking through their math assignments this year, and their hard work has generated some impressive results. ECMS family holiday night
A scheduled meeting turned into a family holiday fun night recently at Escambia County Middle School. Students in the A-STEM program were treated to an ECMS Eagles basketball game. The Eagles are undefeated this year. Then students and parents had another surprise – decorating Christmas cookies together.
