A juvenile – reportedly a 13-year-old boy – was taken into custody December 5 by Escambia County deputies who responded to a report of a burglary in progress just outside the Poarch community. Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators are looking into another rash of vehicle burglaries that have plagued one of the county’s rural areas in recent days.
