Atmore man charged with attempted murder in Friday shooting
An Atmore man was arrested today (Saturday, Sept. 12) in connection with a shooting that took place here Friday afternoon. Amirr Raheem English, 21, is charged with attempted murder in the incident. New police cars
Atmore Police Department officials recently took delivery of five new Ford Explorer patrol vehicles that were custom built to include special emergency packages. The purchase, approved by the city council in September 2017, was from Johnson Ford, which submitted the only bid. The Explorers cost $26,668.08 apiece, a total expenditure of $133,340.40.
