Public schools closed Wednesday
Escambia County Superintendent of Education released the following: All Escambia County Public Schools (Alabama) will be closed Wednesday, January 17, 2018, due to a severe winter weather advisory.  A decision will be made tomorrow about school for Thursday. Firefighters contain mobile home blaze
Usually, when firefighters are dispatched to a mobile home fire, hopes of actually saving the fast-burning dwelling are not all that high.
