Fountain named headmaster at EA; Heigle resigns
Officials of Escambia Academy have issued the following statement regarding the school’s administration:   “The Board of Directors of Escambia Academy has announced that Assistant Headmaster Hugh Fountain has been elevated to the position of Headmaster.   “Former Headmaster Wade Heigle resigned his post as headmaster, effective immediately.” For more details on the story, read Wednesday’s Atmore News. 
YMCA offering adult soccer, youth flag football
Atmore Area YMCA, along with Atmore Soccer Inc., has decided to take the Y’s successful youth soccer program to the next level. Registration for the new Adult Recreational Soccer program will continue until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 29. Games are set to begin on Saturday, January 20.
