Barnetta Williams passed away Friday, October 6. If she had lived until October 20, she would have been 110 years old. Atmore firefighters examine a 2009 Dodge Challenger that ran off U.S. 31 around 11 a.m. Monday, October 9, and eventually came to rest upside-down in a field adjacent to Hanging Fern Lane. Tuesday crash injures 3 – Pickup slams into rear of dump truck
Two men and a woman, who suffered a reportedly serious head injury, were hurt early Tuesday when the pickup in which they were riding slammed into the rear of a dump truck. The wreck occurred around 6:10 a.m. on Jack Springs Road, about three miles outside Atmore’s city limits.
