The Blessing of Animals originally scheduled for last Saturday at Trinity Episcopal in Atmore has been postponed until Monday, October 23 at 5 pm. Trinity apologizes for any inconvenience.
Trinity to honor St. Francis of Assisi – Blessing of the Animals is Saturday
Trinity Episcopal will host a casual non-denominational Blessing of the Animals on church grounds at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 30. The service honors St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. Father Chris Coats will officiate. All are invited. Jeans or sweats are appropriate attire. Unity Baptist holding homecoming, anniversary
The pastor and congregation at Unity Baptist Church invite all to Homecoming Sunday, October 1, at 10 a.m. This is also the church’s 32nd anniversary. Special guest speaker is Pastor Derek Farr from Roanoke, Ala. Pastor Derek is also a ventriloquist and has worked with his side-kick “Charlie” since 1996. There will be special music. Dinner on the grounds will follow the worship service.
