By GERRI MCDONALD Special to Atmore News Perdido Middle School students once again finished among the top in the state during the 10-week Stock Market Game competition. Eighth graders Justin Brunson, Drew Turner, Ayden Scarborough and Braxton Scarborough finished fourth with final portfolio earnings of $112,479.31. Placing fourth in the state earned the team $75 and SMG drawstring bags. Kam Drinkard, a fifth-grade student at Perdido Elementary / Middle School, won the school competition of the National Geographic Bee on January 19, and a chance at a $50,000 college scholarship.
