United Bank joins with the Atmore YMCA for a great cause as part of its Screen on the Green 2017 dinner and outdoor movie. The event will be held Friday, June 2, at Heritage Park, featuring Moana. Turtle Point Science Center in Flomaton is raising funds to renovate the boardwalk, one of the most popular parts of the center. Each year, more than 3,500 high school students from across the country participate in the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest.
