‘Super Fun Day’ lives up to its name for special students
More than 150 special education students from across Escambia County made sure last week that Super Fun Day lived up to its name. Two Escambia County young men brought home ribbons in the 60th Alabama Junior Beef Expo (JBE) March 15-17, held inside Teague Arena on the Garrett Coliseum grounds in Montgomery. March 24 benefit for Searcy
A benefit for Atmore resident Jerry Searcy will be held Saturday, March 24, at Boatyard Landing, near Stockton. It will begin at noon and continue throughout the day. Searcy, who is married to the former Jean Coleman, is battling colon cancer and faces six months of chemotherapy.
