Pool hours announced for Houston Avery Park
News Staff Report The city pool at Houston Avery Park is now open to the public five days a week. The pool opened Tuesday, May 29, at the municipal park, located just off Martin Luther King Drive. The Escambia County Commission will meet on Tuesday, May 29, 9 a.m., in the County Commission Chambers, rather than Monday, the 28th. VFW Post 7016 and American Legion Post 90 will hold a Memorial Day observance Monday, May 28, 9 a.m., at the Veterans Monument in front of Atmore City Hall.
