ECMS students embrace A-Stem
A-STEM is the new after school enrichment program focusing on science, technology, engineering, math and the arts at Escambia County Middle School. Students are exploring the world around them in the science lab, building model airplanes and rockets, learning the dynamics involved with archery, as well as creating a digital storybook, getting physically fit and receiving math intervention. ECMS currently has 140 students enrolled in the A-STEM program.  
Pitch, Hit, Run at YMCA April 1
Atmore YMCA will host the annual Scotts Pitch, Hit & Run competition on Saturday, April 1, at the YMCA soccer fields on Pensacola Avenue.
