VFW Auxiliary presents patriotic art awards
Each year, more than 3,500 high school students from across the country participate in the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest. The contest began in 1979 to recognize up-and-coming artists and encourage patriotism in youth. Mosley graduates from JSU
Leslie M. Mosley of Atmore graduated from Jacksonville State University on April 28. Mosley received a BSN in Nursing. JSU President John M. Beehler presented 700 graduates their degrees during three ceremonies, accompanied by Provost Rebecca O. Turner and Vice Provost Joe Walsh. Jacksonville State University is located in the Appalachian foothills midway between Birmingham and Atlanta.
