Mt. Olive hosting special program
Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church will host a program entitled “Soap-Opera Subjects With Biblical Meaning,” with panel speakers, Friday, March 10, 7:30 p.m. Eva Elouise  Smith-Sprueil, Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, will serve as Mistress of Ceremony. Program Coordinator and Chair is Sis. Barbara Poole Harris. The Rev. Dr. Monroe Tucker, Jr. is pastor of Mt. Olive, located on Pouncey Road in Robinsonville.

GWFCU donates to ECHS choir
Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union Branch Manager Emily Dykes and Regional Vice President Lee Ann Allen presented a check to the Escambia County High School Choir to be used for their upcoming trip to Carnegie Hall. Legion frying up some fish
American Legion Post 90 is having a fish fry Saturday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Legion Hall, corner of Church and Main. But this is more than a fish fry.
