Mardi Gras parade set
News Staff Report Atmore’s Elegant Ladies of Essence will sponsor a Mardi Gras parade through the city on Saturday, March 2. The parade is set to begin at 1 p.m. from Atmore City Hall. Entrants will begin lining up at noon. Ladies of Essence is seeking floats, cars, trucks, motorcycles and other entries to join in the fun. There is no fee to participate in the parade.
