Chris Wayne Hawkins Hawkins Rev. Chris Wayne Hawkins, Sr., age 64, of Christian Home, Fla., passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 in Pensacola, Fla. He was born in Shawnee, Okla. to the late D. Car show winner

Atmore’s Dean Smith was the grand prize winner at the Escambia Academy Show-N-Shine Car Show held Saturday, August 15. Categories were antique car/truck, import, American Muscle, jeep, rat rod. Proceeds from the car show benefit the school.

Jordan retires

A retirement reception was held Friday, August 14, for Escambia County Presiding Circuit Judge Dave Jordan at the courthouse in Brewton. Judge Jordan, seated right, is shown with his family, from left, son Coale Jordan, wife Becky, son Matt Jordan, and daughter Jillian Jordan Evans.
