Christmas will be different for seven-year-old Raelynn Hartley this year. Raelynn’s grandmother passed away recently. The loss is especially devastating to Raelynn since she lives with her grandparents. Determined to make Christmas a little brighter for Raelynn, her friends at All of God’s Children Learning Center showered her with gifts Thursday, December 21. Empowerment Tabernacle in Atmore was one of the primary donors who furnished brand new bicycles for 25 Rachel Patterson Elementary School students just before Christmas. The local church provided $5,000 toward the purchase of 75 bikes, 25 of which were awarded to RPES students, the others to Escambia County Middle School students.
