Students are going to new heights at Escambia County High School.
At the end of October, an induction ceremony was held for 2024 Beta Club inductees and 2024 Ambassador inductees.
ECHS Principal LaTonya Gill welcomed everyone to the induction ceremony. Keynote speaker for the program was Dr. Michele Collier, Escambia County School Superintendent.
Beta Club
Beta inductees are as follows:
Ninth grade – Carlos Bernal, Jadon Cox, Timara Craft, Xavier Culliver, Jaliyah King, LaRodshia Lee, Timothy Melvin, Trinity Rabb, Zoey Wiggins
Tenth grade – Veridiana Bernal, Elalio Campos, Xamiria English, Jayden Freeman, Ciara Hooks, NyKera Johnson, Aazia Nelson, Jameon Reese, Trinity Thompson
Eleventh grade – Isaiah America, Shaleah Bright, Kamani Frye, Trinity Gray, Tydarrious Hudson, Amarion Lemon, Imari Lemon, Mariah Leslie, Tevin McClain, Abbigail Mosley, Demyia Munlyn, Jontavious Richardson, Robert Smith
Twelfth grade – Enaf Almatari, Ayana Brown, Jakayla Bullard, Braleigh Lambert, Ziyonah Moye, Olivia Sims, Alycia Smith, Lebron Willis.
Senior officers are as follows: Chloe Dawson, president; Ashley Parra Cerritos, vice president; Ariyana Young, secretary; Charlino Johnson, public relations officer.
Beta Club induction was conducted by Paula Buchanan, Beta Club officers, Jennifer Cosentino, and LaTonya Gill.

Ambassador induction was conducted by LaShonda Marshall, Ambassador officers, Jennifer Cosentino, and LaToyna Gill.
Reception
A reception followed the ceremony courtesy of the Yellow Hat Society, ECHS Culinary Program, Elliot Faircloth and Popeyes.

The watchword at ECHS this year is PRIDE, as instilled by LaTonya Gill, first-year principal.
