Before the students darkened the door on the first day of school, administrators, teachers, and staff spent countless hours getting ready for the school year. They’ve had professional development and staff meetings, teacher workdays and open houses. And as of yesterday, August 6, the new school began. Kendra McCall visited two schools Monday, August 5. Her five-year-old son Kacen will attend kindergarten at A.C. Moore Primary School. Her seven-year-old son Kamden is in third grade at Rachel Patterson Elementary.
