The Greater Escambia Center for the Arts (GECA) is gearing up for its next children’s play, “Twice Upon A Time” by Tracy Wells, set to open the last weekend in February.
Directed by and starring Sharon Poulsen with assistant director Simon Bush, who will also be on stage, this one-act play is a spin on the all too familiar timeless fairy tales, featuring a cast of quirky characters and mishaps.
Shows are scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 29, through Saturday, March 2, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 3. Tickets will be available online at www.gecarts.org and at the door for $12. Doors open a half hour prior to the show. There will be a 15-minute intermission during the show. All concessions are $1.50 and will be sold during intermission.
