The Escambia County Children’s Policy Council has partnered with Rachel Patterson Elementary School to enhance their literacy programs through family engagement initiatives. Kimberly Waller-Smith presented a generous donation to the school to help support programs that bridge the gaps between home and school to increase students’ reading proficiency.
