If you heard rain early Saturday morning, June 24, you may have thought Market in the Park would be a washout. But you would have been wrong.
Gardeners and vendors turned out with loads of fresh produce and vegetables, canned goods and green plants. The market was not quite as spread out as it is sometimes. They set up shop around the center part of the park, away from the soggy lawn, but there was still room for everybody.
The next Markets in the Park will be held July 8 and August 12.
