Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) officials announced that a Milton, Fla. man, injured April 23 in a single-vehicle wreck on Cowpen Creek Road, succumbed to his injuries.
Reports by ALEA state troopers show that Stephen K. Lodge, 52, was critically injured when the 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was operating left the roadway and overturned around 5 p.m. that afternoon.
Lodge was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he passed away Wednesday, May 4.
The crash occurred near Canoe.
No further details have been released as state troopers continue their investigation.
