Rachel Patterson Elementary School’s history got a new chapter last Friday, December 3, when first-grade teacher Brian Stallworth, seated at right, was presented with a Golden Apple Award as one of the area’s outstanding teachers. Mobile television station WKRG and its partners — Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, Riviera Utilities, Hembree Heating & Air Conditioning and R.H. Radcliff Homes — presented Stallworth with gifts, including a golden apple, and a check for $100.
