CSX Transportation crews work Tuesday (November 30) on upgrading a rail crossing near Canoe. The crossings on Cowpen Creek Road, on which Escambia Academy is located, and Tumbling Lane will be closed for several days for maintenance. A spokesperson for Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the school can be accessed via North Canoe Road and Myrick Avenue or Randolph Avenue.
