An Atmore man, charged with attempted murder in connection with an October 25 shooting in the city’s northeastern quadrant, is back behind bars after having been free for nearly seven months on $30,000 bond.
Escambia County Detention Center records show that Tyrell Dashun Ford, 26, was taken into custody in the early morning hours of June 10 by bail enforcement agents with Century Bail Bonds after he failed to appear for a recent court hearing.
Ford was initially arrested October 28 and charged with the shooting, which took place at a Gray Street residence and left an unidentified man with a gunshot wound to one of his hands.
APD reports show that the investigation began when medical staff at Atmore Community Hospital reported that an individual with a gunshot wound was being treated there.
Ford was released from the county jail Monday (June 14).
