Kirkland, Campbell engaged

Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Kirkland would like to announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren Suzanne to Daniel Joseph Campbell, son of Mr. James E. Campbell II and the late Lynn Campbell of Pensacola Florida.
Miss Kirkland is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nadine Lancaster and the late Raymond Lancaster of Repton, and Mrs. Marjorie Kirkland and the late Jack H. Kirkland Sr. of Atmore.
The bride-elect is a 2010 home school graduate of Barnett Crossroads Christian Academy, a graduate of University of Mobile where she received her Bachelor of Science in Music with Teacher Certification, and a Florida State graduate where she received her Master’s Degree in Music Education. She is employed as the orchestra director for Bailey Middle School in the Escambia County Florida school district. Currently, Miss Kirkland is also the District Chair and String Team Leader for the county. She has also performed as a guest violinist in several church orchestras and worship teams as well as performed for weddings.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Campbell of Chumuckla, Florida, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Freeman Mock of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Campbell is a 2010 high school graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Pensacola, Florida, and received his Bachelor of Music Education from the University of West Florida. He is currently employed as the Beulah Middle School band director for the Escambia County Florida School District. He is a member of the Pensacola Civic Band where he plays trumpet. He also performs as guest artist for several church orchestras and worship teams as guitarist, drummer as well as keyboard and vocals. Mr. Campbell and Miss Kirkland also perform for weddings and have a private music studio.
The June 20th wedding will be at 5:00 p.m. at Atmore Assembly of God Church in Atmore, Alabama. Friends and relatives are invited.
After the wedding, the couple will reside in Pensacola, Florida.
