The Atmore Lions Club met on June 4 in the Mayson Auditorium at Atmore Community Hospital. The meeting was called to order by President Lion Joyce Petty who also led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Lion Mike von Keyserling said the blessing.
Following lunch, Lion Renee Hardy introduced Ryan and Sheriah Little who own Littlestead Acres and grow organic mushrooms. Mr. Little explained the story of their move from Washington state to Davisville, Florida, and the beginning of their mushroom growth. He also showed some absolutely beautiful Reishi mushrooms and spoke of the health benefits of them. All the mushrooms are grown inside and are organically grown and are available at their farm.
The next meeting will be on June 18 with officer installations
