Charlotte Boyle has represented District 66 of the Alabama Silver-Haired Legislature for many years. The purpose of ASHL is to inform the Alabama Legislature about elderly needs and issues of concern, and to serve as an educational organization for Alabama’s senior citizens. In her work, she has always found an ally in Mayor Jim Staff. Shown, on behalf of ASHL, Boyle presented him with a gift on the occasion of his retirement during a reception at the SAIL Center May 28.
