Janes named to President’s List at Jax State
Jamison Janes of Atmore has been named to the President’s List at Jacksonville State University for her outstanding academic performance over the Spring 2025 semester.To be named to the President’s List, students must earn a perfect 4.0 GPA for the semester while completing at least 12 hours of GPA course credit.
Dogs for a cause
The Atmore Lions Club has been going through some funding issues recently, and when the Chamber of Commerce discovered the problem, they planned and set up a Conecuh sausage dog sale Friday, May 16. The sausage was donated from Conecuh Sausage and the Chamber provided buns and condiments. Lions workers cooked the sausage and managed sales. Modern Woodmen of America matched Lions sales of $1,250.
