Club President Joyce Petty called the Atmore Lions Club meeting to order on May 21 at the First Methodist Church’s Fellowship Hall. Lion Mike von Keyserling said the blessing. Lion Joyce reported on the success of the raffle and sausage dog sale.
Lion Shane Hadley introduced John English and Jose Antillon from Perdido River Farms. The men explained how the business began and how it has grown. Members were told about the different kinds and cuts of meat they provide and also said they would be processing pork as soon as the pigs mature.
