Lions will announce the winners of a raffle which they are holding. Raffle tickets are $1 each and prizes to be drawn will include Hawt Mess patriotic basket; two wreaths from Atmore Flower Shop; $100 gift certificate from Gather; gift certificates from Hardy Farms, PHD Realty, Jennifer White; two bags of hair products from Gregg’s; and a Coffee House basket. Additionally. Modern Woodmen of America will match Lions Club sales.
Lion Gideons informed members about Lions Quest which will be held in Atmore from May through August, and next school year. This program works with juveniles in trouble with the law. Judges and Lions Club members will help our young people in trouble turn to a more productive pathway. If they complete the program, the judge will erase the rest of their sentence for crimes committed.
