Special to Atmore News

Atmore Community Hospital, in partnership with the Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRCHSD) Program, recently hosted a collaborative meeting with numerous community stakeholders to discuss the strengths, challenges, and future of health and well-being in Atmore and surrounding areas.
This gathering brought together leaders from healthcare, business, government, and faith-based organizations to collectively assess the community’s current needs and opportunities. Through open dialogue and strategic brainstorming, the group identified key areas for growth, as well as existing resources that can be leveraged to drive progress.
The result of this collaborative session was a unified commitment among all partners – to work alongside Atmore Community Hospital and with one another to implement sustainable, community-driven solutions that enhance the quality of life for all citizens.
With support from the DRCHSD Program and a shared vision among stakeholders, Atmore is poised to create a healthier, more connected, and resilient community.
Also facilitating the session were Leah Williams, ACH community liaison; Precious Fritz, program specialist with DRCHSD; Selena McCord, program manager, DRCHSD.
