Haskell Dunn  

Mr. Haskell Dunn, of Sterrett, Ala., formerly of Atmore, Ala., passed away Sunday, December 29, 2025.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at Mobile Memorial Gardens, 6040 Three Notch Rd., Mobile, Ala. at Noon. Graveside at conclusion of funeral.

The family will receive friends at Mobile Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m.

Judi Lynn McElhaney

Mrs. Judi Lynn McElhaney, age 75, of Bratt,  Fla. passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in Pensacola, Fla.  She was born in Atmore, Ala. to Buford “Bob” and Mildred Gibson Howell.  She graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola.  She was a member of Poarch Band of Creek Indians and Grace Fellowship Church.  She was employed as a cosmetologist, teacher’s aide and dental assistant and before retiring was a data clerk with PCI Enterprises. She cherished her family and treasured the time she spent with her precious grandchildren. She was a generous person with a servant’s heart all because of her relationship with Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four siblings, Jimmy Howell, Dawn Howell Davis, Phyllis Howell Miller, Ronald Howell and her grandson, Josiah Paul McElhaney.

Mrs. McElhaney is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, James “Mac” C. McElhaney, Jr.; her son, Joshua McElhaney of Bratt; her daughters, Candice McElhaney Dawe of Spanish Fort, Ala. and Stephani McElhaney Penn of Granite City, Ill.; her grandchildren., Claire, Lily, Jabe, James, Libby, Lucy, Landry, Jesse, Marlee and Maevree, along with numerous family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church with Rev. Corey Penn, Pastor Gene King and Pastor Glenn Weber officiating. Interment will follow in Bratt-Godwin Cemetery in Bratt.

Active pallbearers will be Jabe Dawe, James McElhaney, Jesse McElhaney, Ronny Miller, Trevor Knighten, Chris McElhaney, Denver Schrock and Jake Penner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Ward, David Johnson, Ronnie Stabler, Calvin Schrock, Jim Weber, Curvin Hursh, Lester Huber, and James Helton.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church.
