Karaoke winners, week 3
The Strand Theatre is hosting a karaoke contest called Alabama Idol in August. Winners from week 3, August 15, are Christin Norton, left, Judges Choice winner; Danny Protsman, middle, and Simon Bush, right, Audience Choice winners. These three will move on to the finale to compete on August 29 for the grand prize. Week 4 of competition will be Thursday August 22, 7 p.m. If anyone would like to compete on week 4, please register online or have two songs ready and arrive at the Strand before 6:30 pm to register.

Winners from week 4, August 22, are from left, Shannon Peery, Judges’ Choice, $100 prize; Chief Peters, runner-up; Katie Stokes, Audience Choice. These three will move on to the week 5 finale and compete with other winners from each week for the grand prize Thursday, August 29, 7 p.m.
