June McClendon was as pleased as she could be with the response to the Grillin’ Good Time she organized for The Summit Saturday, July 27.
Residents’ friends and family members were invited to come by, enjoy a meal, have some popcorn and ice cream and visit.
Several folks from Ridge Road Baptist Church in East Brewton provided music after lunch.
McClendon had made a blanket for each resident, and there were several door prizes given away. The only part of the day that didn’t work out was the old car show which was canceled due to the weather.
