Bunch of bikes
Empowerment Tabernacle in Atmore was one of the primary donors who furnished brand new bicycles for 25 Rachel Patterson Elementary School students just before Christmas. The local church provided $5,000 toward the purchase of 75 bikes, 25 of which were awarded to RPES students, the others to Escambia County Middle School students. Marcia Lynn Oden Mrs. Marcia Lynn Oden, age 59, of Flomaton, Ala., passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Raceland, La.
